Course Content

This course will feature the complete process of producing a composite UAV component using fibreglass, carbon fibre, epoxy resin and other chemicals associated to composite material fabrication. The course starts with a brief introduction to UAV airframe design. Then delegates will learn to make plugs from their design. From the plugs, delegates will be taught how to make molds. And finally from the molds we will teach them to make the flyable airframe parts such as the wing, tail and fuselage. The course contains a good mix of theoretical knowledge and information as well as hands-on instructions on using the composite material to make UAV. Other materials that will be featured includes kevlar, polystyrene foam, PU foams and more! If you would like to learn how to make UAV airframes from composite material, this is one course you do not want to miss!

Highly recommended for new UAV fabrication team who has little or no knowledge on how to work with composite material. By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge on how to make plug, mold and lightweight parts for UAVs components.

Available Course Duration

2 Days: A quick rundown on the equipment and technique we use to design, fabricate and implement composite fabrication technology to make UAV parts. More demonstrations by instructors, less opportunity for hands-on experience by clients.

5 Days: A thorough explanation on the equipment and technique used to fabricate and implement various composite fabrication technology to make a successful UAV. More opportunities for clients to experience hands-on how to make a UAV backed up with demonstrations and supervisions by instructors.

10 Days: All in with maximum time for clients to experience hands-on.Highly recommended.
