WE PUT OUR CLIENTS FIRST... ALWAYS.

1) The Course Coverage

At Asmara Aerospace we teach from the experience gained through actual UAV operation. Our team learned (the hard way!) about UAV by doing. But our clients don't have to go through the challenges we went through, hence they will save cost, time and unnecessary damages by first learning what we have over the past 11 years.

In everything we teach about UAV, we often make references between one discipline to another. For example, when we teach about airframe design and fabrication, we always explain 'why'. By doing this we relate the effect certain design and fabrication technique will have on the actual unmanned performance. When we teach about UAV Avionics Embedded System Design, we will describe in detail, the techniques that must be used during fabrication to eliminate problems that can be caused by problems such as radio interference and engine vibration.

Our courses are highly specialised training that have earned us the trust from clients around the world. The coverage of the UAV courses is comprehensive and to the organisations where they come from, the courses are absolute value-for-money.

 2) What do we do in class?

Majority of the clients that we have had the honour of training are qualified engineers and technicians who have had brilliant university or polytechnic training from around the world. Our clients are competent in their own engineering majors and they are well verse in the theoretical side of their respective fields. What we do in Asmara Aerospace is to show them how the theory works (or don't work) in real life! For example, our clients may have learned about Control Law in Automatic Control System class in the university. They have studied PID, LQR, Fuzzy Logic and much more and have seen the effects of using these control laws to solve control problems in software simulations. But not all have seen the effects of these control laws on controlling a physical object such as a flying UAV, in real life! So in the Automatic Flight Control System Design and Analysis course that we offer, we show them how PID control law is used to provide complete stability to a UAV - by physically demonstrating its true effects. We also show them other unique characteristics of the aircraft during flight such as the Phugoid Motion, Short Period Motion and the Dutch Roll motion, live! But most importantly, in this course, we show what makes a UAV, "unmanned". The same principle applies to our other courses - whether the course is on Composite Material or UAV Design, Fabrication and Technology Implementation (our most popular course), we show and share the actual reasons why certain things are done certain ways. Lots of opportunities to experience the real thing!

3) The Course Organisation

When our clients come for our courses, they will be provided with an office for them to use, complete with computer, internet and other usual facilities. Each day the course starts at 0900. Breakfast, lunch and free flow of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. The training conducted by the instructors are complete so there's a lot to be covered, but the training environment in the labs, classrooms and other training facilities are relaxed. It is not a typical lecture type training in learning institutions, but instead the clients are free to take a break, ask as many questions as they want at any time (and we like them to ask as many questions!) and if there's too much to take in, we often revert to something more outdoors like ... flying a UAV! Our courses end for the day at 1700hours, but we are always happy to extend the hours with them in the lab if they 'get into the zone'.

 4) The Language

We welcome non english speaking clients from any parts of the world. Although we use English language during training, we will invite instructors who are fluent in the language where our clients come from if necessary to make the training more understandable. Because most of the actions are hands-on, our clients have never had any problem with communication. Action speaks louder than words! Our team of instructors are multi-national anyways, so the environment during training is truely international.

 5) We save the best for last - The Environment

Our country, Malaysia, is blessed with good sunshine, great temperature and wonderful weather. During our training session, this condition, is an exceptionally wonderful experience to our clients. When our clients have completed their training for the day, they take the chance to do some R&R around Kuala Lumpur - the vibrant capital city of Malaysia. Those who come with their family will take the opportunity to do some travelling to wonderful destinations around the country during the weekends. There's plenty to do in Malaysia and the kind of environment is truely something all our clients enjoy. The temperature in Malaysia is warm and pleasant, between 26 - 32 deg C, and pleasantly sunny!
